Trigger requests from any tool
Any Zapier trigger — HubSpot, Typeform, Stripe, Google Sheets — can create a ClientLoop document request the moment it fires.
ClientLoop runs the requests, uploads and approvals. Zapier wires it into the rest of your stack — no backend code.
Your forms and CRM already fire Zaps. Document collection is the step that doesn't. ClientLoop gives it a home — Zapier does the rest.
Any Zapier trigger — HubSpot, Typeform, Stripe, Google Sheets — can create a ClientLoop document request the moment it fires.
A client submits, ClientLoop fires a webhook, Zapier notifies your team in Slack, email, or any connected app.
When a request is approved, Zapier writes the status back to Airtable, HubSpot or Google Sheets. No copy-pasting.
If you can build a Zap, you can connect ClientLoop. Webhooks by Zapier calls the API; the Webhooks trigger receives events.
A new signup or signed contract triggers the right document pack — ID verification, agreements, questionnaires.
Reusable templates mean every client gets the same document request, however the trigger fired.
ClientLoop sits in the middle — Zapier triggers it from the front and reacts to it from the back.
A new form response creates the right ClientLoop request — automatically.
A deal reaches the stage; your new client gets their document pack.
Documents land, and your team hears about it the moment they do.
Status writes itself straight back to your records — no copy-paste.
Payment clears and onboarding starts while the momentum is there.
A silent request gets a nudge — without you having to notice.
Simple no-code workflows and widely-used SaaS apps. Best when your team has no developer resource.
Complex, branching, or self-hosted workflows. Better for technical teams building sophisticated automations.
See n8n integration →Not yet. ClientLoop connects to Zapier through its REST API and webhooks. In Zapier, you can use the Webhooks by Zapier action to call the ClientLoop API, and use Webhooks by Zapier as a trigger to receive events from ClientLoop. A native Zapier app is planned for a future release.
Any Zapier trigger that produces a client name, email or ID can kick off a ClientLoop document request using the ClientLoop API. Common examples include Typeform, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Stripe, Calendly, Google Sheets, and form tools. On the response side, ClientLoop webhook events (submission received, approved, etc.) can trigger downstream Zaps.
Basic Zapier→ClientLoop connections can be set up by anyone comfortable building Zaps. Using the HTTP Request action or Webhooks by Zapier does require you to know the ClientLoop API endpoint and your API key. If you need help, a developer can set this up once and hand it over. Webhook delivery and API access for Zapier workflows are available on the Pro plan.
Zapier is better for simple, no-code workflows with broadly used SaaS apps. n8n is more suited to complex, technical, or self-hosted workflows. Both can connect to ClientLoop via its API and webhooks. See our n8n page for the technical automation version.
Documents uploaded by clients through their workspace are stored securely in ClientLoop, regardless of how the request was originally triggered. Zapier doesn't handle the files directly — it triggers the request creation and reacts to status events. File access is through the ClientLoop dashboard or API.
ClientLoop gives your document requests structure — Zapier connects them to everything else.
